By using Janki Mahjong Score Tracker ("Janki", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Janki is a web application for tracking Japanese Mahjong scores across teams, managing members, viewing standings, and exporting results. The Service is provided free of charge.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may sign in using email/password or third-party providers (Google, Facebook, X).
- Email registrations require verification before the account is activated.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading score data
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or team data
- Abuse, harass, or impersonate other users
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including automated scraping or attacks)
- Circumvent security measures such as bot protection
Team Data and Content
Team admins are responsible for the accuracy of scores and member data they submit. Standings and session results may be publicly visible depending on team settings. By submitting data, you grant us the right to store and display it as part of the Service.
API and Discord Bot
Team admins may authorize API access for integrations such as the Discord bot. You are responsible for securing any API tokens issued to your account.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by contacting us.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Score calculations are provided as-is; verify important results independently.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
