Mahjong Score Tracker, also known as Janki Mahjong Score Tracker ("Janki", "we", "us"), is a web application for tracking Japanese Mahjong scores across teams and leagues. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

- Account information: username, email address, and password (if you register with email).
- OAuth profile data: if you sign in with Google, Facebook, or X, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
- Game data: team memberships, session scores, standings, and related statistics you or your team admins submit.
- Contact form submissions: name, email, and message content when you use the contact form.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To provide score tracking, standings, and team management features
- To respond to contact form messages
- To protect the service against abuse (including bot protection via Cloudflare Turnstile)
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google, Facebook, X: for optional social login (only if you choose to use them)
- Cloudflare Turnstile: for bot protection on registration, login, and contact forms
- Email provider: to send account verification and contact form emails
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. We only receive the information necessary to authenticate you and create your account.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Team standings and session results may be visible to other users of the service as part of the app's public team pages. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (see Third-Party Services above) or as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

- Access and update your account information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for OAuth login by disconnecting the provider and using email login instead
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS in production and secure password hashing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
